In addition to the trip to Nicaragua and Mexico next week, it looks like Ill be going to "Croatia in July. This has been on my list of spots to visit for years now and I'm finally going to get the chance. All of my work will be in Zagreb, but while I'm there I have to see part of the coast, either Split or Dubrovnik. If I can't make it to either of those cities, I'll go wherever I can see water. The Dalmatian Coast is supposed to be one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.
Croatia also has quite a number of monistaries which would make good visiting, as would any of the UNESCO World Heratige sites.
All these links are coming from a single website run by the Croatia National Tourist Board. These guys paid attention both in marketing and web design class. This already demonstrates a level of savvy that seemed drastically missing in some of the other countries I've visited.
Phew! I'm going to make 100k miles this year if this keeps up!
